Job summary

Butterball, LLC, is seeking a Poultry Production Intern for a 10-12 week program at the Huntsville, Arkansas plant. You’ll work in a live production environment, tackle industry challenges, and contribute to process improvements.

The internship aims to grow future leaders through professional development and assignments aligned with processing and manufacturing. Relocation may be required for candidates outside Huntsville.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Agri-Business, Animal Science, Food Science, Meat Science, Ag Leadership, or related field with expected graduation dates Dec 2027–Jun 2029.
• Have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to commute to and from work.
• Open to relocating to Huntsville, Arkansas if not in the area.
• Demonstrated participation in extracurricular activity and involvement on-campus.

Responsibilities

• Master the ins and outs of food production.
• Collaborate with our team to optimize processes.
• Contribute to quality assurance and food safety.
• Develop your leadership skills by guiding and mentoring our first‑line employees.
