Job summary

Butterball, LLC, a leading name in turkey products, invites applications for a Poultry Production Intern in Raeford, NC. You will work in our Raeford food manufacturing plant, engaging in daily operations, tackling industry challenges, and contributing to process improvements.

The program aims to grow future leaders through professional development and hands-on assignments aligned with processing and manufacturing industry interests.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Agri-Business, Animal Science, Food Science, Meat Science, Ag Leadership, or a related field with an expected graduation date December 2027 through June 2029.
• Have a valid drivers’ license and reliable transportation to commute to and from work.
• Open to relocating to Raeford, North Carolina if not in the area.
• Demonstrated participation in extracurricular activity
• Demonstrated involvement on-campus
• Previous work experience of any kind preferred

Responsibilities

• Master the ins and outs of food production.
• Collaborate with our team to optimize processes.
• Contribute to quality assurance and food safety.
• Develop your leadership skills by guiding and mentoring our first-line employees.
