Job summary

Greater Green Bay YMCA is seeking a Summer and Family Program Director for Camp U-Nah-Li-Ya to lead summer and family programs and supervise a seasonal team. You will ensure program quality, safety, and engaging activities for campers and families in outdoor settings and the camp office.

The role emphasizes staff development, collaboration with the Camp Director, budget oversight, and active community engagement to deliver memorable experiences and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
• 2–4 years of camping services programming experience.
• Knowledge of ACA and Aquatic safety standards.
• CPR, First Aid, and AED certification required; lifeguard certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safe program environments and model risk-management practices.
• Recruit, hire, onboard, train, and develop camp staff.
• Monitor budgets and align programming with financial goals.
• Respond to emergencies with appropriate first response and documentation.
• Build relationships with staff, campers, and parents and ensure clear communication.
