Job summary

YMCA of Greater Rochester is seeking a Program Director to lead summer day camps, School’s Out Camp, youth sports, birthday parties and STEM programming. You will oversee staff, budgets, compliance and safe, engaging experiences for members and families.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years’ supervisory experience.
• Experience creating, implementing and managing large programs.
• Strong communication, networking and collaboration skills.
• CPR/AED and First Aid certifications current.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for summer day camp, School’s Out Camp, youth sports and STEM programming.
• Develop, implement, evaluate and grow high‑quality programs to meet member needs.
• Lead staff recruitment, training, scheduling and evaluation.
• Manage program budgets, revenue and expenses.
• Ensure safety, regulatory compliance and high standards of service.
