Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a four-year college and entering junior or senior year, or recently graduated.
• Pursuing a degree related to the internship area (business, construction, real estate, etc.).
• Demonstrated interest in homebuilding and related functions within D.R. Horton.
• Strong willingness to learn, take initiative, and contribute in a professional team environment.
• Effective verbal and written communication with team members, customers, and partners.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and adaptable to new software.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team; adaptable to various settings.

Responsibilities

• Support daily operations within the assigned department, division, office, field location, jobsite, or business function.
• Assist with department projects, research, reporting, administrative activities, and coordination tasks.
• Learn and apply departmental responsibilities, industry terms, policies, safety requirements, and SOPs.
• Collaborate with team members and cross-functional departments to understand company operations.
• Participate in trainings, rotations, and other learning opportunities.
• Explore career opportunities within D.R. Horton and affiliated businesses.
• Conduct all business in a professional, ethical, and respectful manner.
• Ability to work overtime and travel as needed.
