AIG is reimagining how we help customers manage risk. Join us as a Summer Intern in the Claims department to learn and grow your skills as a valued team member.

During a 9-week program, you will gain hands-on experience, work on dynamic projects with leaders, and participate in masterclasses and mentoring circles. Roles may lead to Analyst opportunities in July 2028 in the assigned location.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree to be received by June 2028.
• Available for the complete Summer Internship Program from June 7 through August 6, 2027.
• In-person internship requiring interns to work in the office at least four days per week.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
• Ability to collaborate, manage multiple priorities, in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Support the investigation, evaluation, and resolution of claims.
• Analyze claims and operational data to identify trends and improve processes.
• Build relationships with clients and key business stakeholders.
• Monitor claims activity, respond to customer inquiries, and help ensure accurate payments and reserving.
• Promote consistency and claims best practices across the organization.
• Gain exposure to a variety of Claims disciplines.
