Job summary

S&ME's Spark Internship Program offers summer opportunities across Civil, Environmental, Construction, and Geotechnical Engineering. You will work with experienced professional-owners, part of an intern cohort, to learn all aspects of the firm and gain hands-on experience while developing professionally.

The program runs for twelve weeks, May 2027 through August 2027, with competitive pay based on experience. Housing is not provided; visa assistance not offered.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a related degree program; Rising Juniors, Seniors, or Graduate students preferred.
• Related experience and/or campus, community, work-related leadership experience preferred.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Out of town travel may be required.
• For technical roles the ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions is required.
• Routine lifting may be required: 40 to 50 lbs.
