Wolfoods Food Services is seeking an experienced Assistant Kitchen Manager for an on-site, live-in role at rural summer camp facilities across the US. You will oversee all prep and production for designated day parts, manage staff, and ensure allergen safety in a fast-paced kitchen.

We offer competitive seasonal pay with a bonus, full room and board for the contract, travel expense assistance, and the opportunity to lead a dynamic camp dining team in a unique community.

Qualifications

• Experience: 2+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch and institutional/batch baking experience.
• Certifications: ServSafe Allergens required before start date; company-sponsored.
• Skills: Strong leadership, scratch baking, able to navigate I-Pad, versatile with ingredients, and sharp problem-solving abilities.

Responsabilités

• Lead and train kitchen staff; foster a high-energy, positive environment.
• Operational flow: portion control, menu specs, scratch cooking execution, and timely meal service.
• Strict allergen safety: manage allergy protocols (Kosher, Nut-Free, Gluten-Free, Vegan, etc.) and maintain sanitation standards.
• Manage inventory and assist with daily reporting.
• Serve as liaison between kitchen operations, campers, and camp leadership.
