Camp Galileo is seeking an experienced Camp Director for Bellevue, WA. In this role you will open and operate a Camp Galileo location, leading a seasonal team of educators and staff to create joyful, safe environments for K–8 campers.

You will manage operations, communications with families, and ensure high program quality and customer care throughout the season. You will supervise scheduling and payroll, mentor staff, and serve as the community face of camp, while upholding Galileo's mission

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience working directly with students in an education setting (out-of-school time, teaching, camps).
• Minimum 1 year of experience managing or supervising adult staff.
• Proven experience creating safe, inclusive environments for children and building trust with families.
• Proven experience setting clear expectations, giving ongoing feedback, and coaching staff.

• Lead a seasonal team of educators and entry-level staff to deliver joyful, safe experiences.
• Uphold program quality, foster creativity, and deliver customer care and curriculum excellence.
