Camp Galileo seeks an experienced Camp Director to lead our seasonal summer camps for K–8th grade, serving as both site General Manager and the public face of the organization.

You will open and operate a Camp Galileo location, guiding a dynamic team of educators and entry-level staff to create joyful, safe environments, uphold program quality, and deliver exceptional customer care, curriculum, and leadership.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience working directly with students in an education setting.
• Minimum 1 year of experience managing or supervising adult staff.
• Proven experience creating safe, inclusive environments for children and building trust with families.
• Proven experience setting clear expectations and coaching staff.
• Experience with scheduling, payroll, and other operational duties.

Responsabilités

• Lead camp operations and ensure high-quality programs.
• Train, mentor, and schedule staff across site.
• Manage family communications and safety protocols.
• Partner with field program manager and community partners.
• Support phase planning and on-site operations during camp season.
