Galileo Learning, LLC is seeking an experienced Camp Director to lead our Bellevue summer program. You will manage operations, staff, and community relationships to deliver a high-quality experience for K–8 campers and their families.

You will oversee site launch, daily operations, safety, and program excellence while mentoring a seasonal team and coordinating with field program managers. The role blends leadership, logistics, and customer care in a dynamic summer setting.

Qualifikationen

• 3+ years of experience working directly with students in an education setting (out-of-school time, camps, recreation, etc.).
• Minimum 1 year of experience managing or supervising adult staff.
• Proven experience creating safe, inclusive environments for children and building trust with families.
• Experience with scheduling, staffing, and payroll.

• Infuse camp with joy, tradition, and creativity.
• Build an inclusive environment where every camper, staff member, and family feels seen, supported, and inspired.
• Own every aspect of your camp’s launch, from preseason planning through end-of-summer wrap-up.
• Oversee daily camp operations and parent communication while delivering an exceptional program.
• Prioritize camper safety, family trust, and program fidelity at all times.
• Train and mentor a staff of 7 to 40, including educators and entry-level staff, with ongoing feedback and development.
• Manage scheduling, staffing, and payroll; ensure high-quality learning experiences.
• Lead with Galileo’s Innovation Approach to encourage curiosity and problem-solving.
• Serve as the primary face of camp within the community and collaborate with partners.
