Job summary

Mount Hermon Association Incorporated seeks a Child Care Team Lead to assist the Family Ministries Children’s Coordinator. You will guide staff, manage the Child Care program, and foster a safe, faith-centered environment in alignment with Mount Hermon’s mission, vision, and values.

This role emphasizes leadership, curriculum coordination, and collaboration with caregivers. You will supervise counselors, organize activities, maintain records, and support devotional times while ensuring health

• Ability to articulate the gospel of Jesus Christ from Scripture.
• Mature respect for authority, camp guidelines and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Family Ministries Children’s Coordinator in organizing and documenting the Child Care program.
• Provide leadership for staff success through discipleship training and team-building.
• Coordinate with Child Care staff to implement camp activities and curriculum.
• Supervise and evaluate counselors, assistant leads and assistants.
• Maintain records and ensure open communication with parents on health, safety and discipline.
• Organize staff devotions and daily/bi-weekly encouragement sessions.
• Assist in classroom assignments, ordering supplies, and keeping staff informed.
• Work with the coordinator to ensure plans, materials, and weekly/daily operations are ready.
• Attend weekly meetings and support other Children’s Ministry activities as needed.
• Ensure physical and spiritual welfare of campers with appropriate guidance.
