Mount Hermon Association Incorporated seeks a Child Care Assistant Lead to support the Team Lead and Family Ministries Children’s Intern in organizing a safe, spiritually nourishing childcare program for infants through kindergarten during summer camps. You will train staff, coordinate curricula, and ensure clear communications with parents.

Formación

• High school graduate; some college experience preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification required.

Responsabilidades

• Assist Team Lead & Family Ministries Children’s Intern in organizing, documenting, and facilitating Child Care program and staff members’ well-being.
• Provide leadership for staff through training, team meetings, and clear, timely communication.
• Directly oversee a specific classroom during the summer (infants, toddlers, pre-k, and kindergarten) ensuring quality and continuity.
• Coordinate weekly activities and curriculum with staff.
• Communicate with parents about child well-being, health, safety, correction, and care.
• Coordinate and distribute schedules and events to Child Care counselors in their classrooms.
• Organize work areas and supplies to keep them clean and stocked.
• Lead and assist in teaching and activities such as crafts, music, drama, and group games.
• Attend weekly meetings with Family Ministries Children’s Intern and Leadership Team.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
