Job summary

Merrick & Company is offering a paid summer internship for Architecture students for Summer 2027 in Ellicott City, MD or Newport News, VA. The internship runs roughly mid-May to mid-August 2027 and provides hands-on experience with industrial architecture under the supervision of a licensed Architect.

Ideal candidates are seniors or graduate students in an NAAB-accredited program, must include a portfolio, and should have basic Revit and AutoCAD skills. U.S.

Qualifications

• Must graduate after August 2027 to be eligible.
• Senior pursuing an Architecture degree from an NAAB accredited program or current graduate student pursuing a Master’s in Architecture.
• Must include a portfolio with application.
• Basic knowledge of Revit and AutoCAD.
• U.S. Citizenship is required for client projects.

Responsibilities

• Gain hands-on technical experience within industrial architecture.
• Follow detailed instructions and collaborate with designers under licensed Architect supervision.
• Contribute to unique and engaging project design work while meeting schedules.
