Merrick & Company in Greenwood Village, CO (also Tulsa, OK or Richmond, VA) is seeking a college or graduate Mechanical Engineering student for a paid summer internship in Summer 2027. The internship runs mid-May through mid-August 2027 and offers hands-on experience with mechanical engineering tasks, client interaction, and exposure to real projects at an employee-owned firm.

Qualifications

• Must graduate after August 2027 to be eligible.
• Must be pursuing an ABET-accredited Mechanical Engineering program.
• Must be enrolled and entering junior year or higher of undergraduate degree or currently enrolled in grad school.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsabilités

• Gain hands-on mechanical engineering experience across items such as sizing of components, stress analysis, piping systems, and facilities design.
• Collaborate with other disciplines, interface with clients and contractors, and follow schedules and budget commitments.
• Work independently, communicate effectively, and develop problem-solving skills on real client projects.
