Merrick & Company invites you to join our Summer 2027 Civil Infrastructure Engineer Intern program in Charlotte, North Carolina. This paid internship offers hands-on experience on real infrastructure projects, mentored by experienced engineers, with opportunities to learn AutoCAD Civil3D and practical design work.

We seek college or graduate students pursuing Civil Engineering, with a mid-May to mid-August 2027 commitment.

Qualifications

• Must have graduation date after August 2027 to be eligible.
• Must be pursuing an engineering degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited program.
• Must be currently enrolled and entering junior year or higher of undergraduate degree or currently enrolled in grad school.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without Sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Support real-world civil engineering projects including storm drainage, site development, roadway design, and utility design.
• Collaborate with engineers and other disciplines, connect with clients and contractors, and contribute to project work balancing schedules, budgets, and quality.
