URBN Urban Outfitters, Inc. invites fashion design students to join the Summer 2027 Design Internship Program at our Philadelphia Home Office.

Interns will participate in the full design process—from concept through execution—across Men’s, Women’s, and Concept Design areas, gaining hands-on experience in trend research, mood boards, and presentations. Selected interns will collaborate with experienced designers, cross-functional teams, and will contribute to fabric sourcing, CADs, and technical

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Fashion Design or a related field.
• Strong interest in women’s fashion, youth culture, and the Urban Outfitters aesthetic.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign); experience with CLO 3D or similar software is a plus.
• Excellent sketching and visual communication skills.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• Collaborative, curious, and eager to learn in a creative, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in creating mood boards, color palettes, and seasonal concept presentations.
• Support the design team with sketching, CADs, and technical packages.
• Help source fabrics, trims, and inspiration materials for upcoming collections.
• Organize and maintain sample libraries, swatch books, and design archives.
• Participate in fittings, design reviews, and cross‑functional meetings with buying and production teams.
• Conduct trend and market research to support design direction and innovation.
• Assist in preparing line sheets, spec sheets, and internal presentation materials.
