Job summary

URBN Urban Outfitters, Inc. is seeking Summer 2027 Apparel Design Interns to support the design team from concept to final sample at the Home Office in Philadelphia, PA.

The program offers hands-on experience across seasonal collections, trend research, and cross-functional collaboration. Interns will work with experienced designers, gain exposure to line planning and product development, and may qualify for interview consideration for a full-time role.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Fashion Design or related field.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite; CLO 3D a plus.
• Strong sketching and visual communication skills.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• Collaborative, curious, and eager to learn in a creative, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in mood boards, color palettes, and seasonal presentations.
• Support design team with sketching, CADs, and tech packs.
• Source fabrics, trims, and inspiration materials.
• Organize sample libraries, swatch books, and archives.
• Participate in fittings, design reviews, cross-functional meetings.
• Conduct trend and market research to support design direction.
• Prepare line sheets, spec sheets, and internal presentations.
