URBN Urban Outfitters, Inc. invites students to join the Summer 2027 Design Internship in Philadelphia, focusing on Home. You’ll assist from concept to final sample, contribute to trend research, sketching, sourcing, and presentations.

The program runs 6/7–8/13 at the Philadelphia Home Office. It’s paid, includes intern-focused events and mentorship, and offers exposure to the design process across our Home brands.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Furniture Design or related field.
• Strong interest in fashion, youth culture, and URBN aesthetic.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite; CLO 3D a plus.
• Excellent sketching and visual communication skills.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and collaborative; eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in creating mood boards, color palettes, and seasonal concept presentations.
• Support design team with sketching, CADs, and technical packages.
• Help source fabrics, trims, and inspiration materials for upcoming collections.
• Organize and maintain sample libraries, swatch books, and design archives.
• Participate in fittings, design reviews, and cross-functional meetings.
