Job summary

The Federal Reserve Board invites qualified students to participate in an internship within the M365 Platform Support Team. The role focuses on governance, communication, and lifecycle management for Microsoft 365 products, including Teams and SharePoint Online.

You will collaborate with engineers, analysts, and product owners to deliver clear, actionable communications. Interns receive supervision and regular check‑ins, with pay aligned to credit hours.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program and returning to continue studies after the internship.
• 0 years of experience or less.
• Internships are paid, salaries commensurate with credit hours.
• Internships may be in‑person, remote or hybrid depending on team needs.
• U.S. citizens only.
• Must be currently enrolled and returning to continue studies after the internship (e.g., graduates Aug 2027 or later).

Responsibilities

• Developing internal communications including announcements, user guides, service updates, newsletters, and governance messaging.
• Supporting governance authoring including policy pages, process documentation, onboarding materials, and content for IT channels.
• Assisting with annual validation for M365 assets (Teams, SharePoint Online, Shared Mailboxes) including ownership, permissions, lifecycle, and compliance.
• Coordinating and documenting the FISMA support process for products managed by the team.
• Creating or updating knowledge base content, process diagrams, checklists, or user-facing help materials.
• Supporting ad hoc communications and documentation needs for stakeholders and leadership.
