GM Performance Power Units is offering an onsite Microsoft 365 SharePoint Intern position to join our IT team in Concord, NC. You will gain hands-on experience supporting the Microsoft 365 environment, with a focus on SharePoint Online, collaboration tools, and process improvement.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, MIS, Cybersecurity, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Interest in Microsoft 365 technologies, particularly SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, and Power Platform.
• Basic understanding of IT systems, cloud technologies, or collaboration platforms through coursework, projects, or previous experience.
• Interest in learning Power Automate, Power Apps, PowerShell, and other Microsoft technologies.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
• Collaboration: Works effectively with internal teams and external partners.
• Adaptability: Responds effectively to evolving business needs and opportunities.
• Growth mindset
• Ability to handle multiple projects independently
• Note: onsite presence in Concord, NC is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the administration and support of Microsoft 365 services, including SharePoint Online, Teams, Exchange Online, and OneDrive.
• Support the creation and maintenance of SharePoint sites, libraries, lists, permissions, and content.
• Work with internal stakeholders to help organize, upload, and maintain SharePoint content using established best practices.
• Assist with user access, roles, permissions, and Microsoft 365 license management.
• Help monitor system performance, conduct routine audits, and document findings.
• Assist with developing and improving automated workflows and business solutions using Power Automate and Power Apps.
• Help troubleshoot Microsoft 365 and SharePoint‑related issues while learning IT support best practices.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, procedures, diagrams, and user training materials.
• Additional tasks as needed
