Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc. invites rising juniors and seniors to join a 12-week summer Operations Internship at our Fort Worth Distribution Center. You will lead a team of warehouse associates while learning how our logistics networks support our off-price retail model.

Throughout the internship you will receive professional development, networking, and volunteer opportunities, and work on a process improvement project with a final presentation to Distribution executives.

Qualifications

• Rising Juniors and Seniors currently enrolled in a 4-year degree program or students enrolled in 2-year degree program
• Available for the full duration of the summer internship program
• Strong analytical thinkers with sophisticated problem-solving skills
• Proven leadership experience, team collaboration and strong communication skills
• The confidence and flexibility to thrive in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment
• An entrepreneurial drive, strong work ethic, and business acumen
• Able to accommodate a flexible work schedule depending on business needs

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of warehouse associates in daily operations
• Support execution, delivery, and achievement of operational goals
• Collaborate with various functions within the Distribution or Fulfillment Center
• Learn from TJX operations leaders and shadow senior staff
• Participate in a process improvement project and present findings to executives
