Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc. invites rising juniors and seniors to join a 12-week summer Operations Internship at our USA TJ Maxx Distribution Center in San Antonio. You will lead warehouse teams while learning how retail operations and logistics networks partner to keep our business running efficiently.

Expect extensive on-the-job training, mentorship from leaders, and opportunities to work on a process improvement project. A final presentation to Distribution executives is required upon completion.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience within a warehouse or team setting.
• Strong analytical thinkers with problem-solving skills.
• Proven leadership experience, team collaboration and strong communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced and ambiguous environments.
• Entrepreneurial drive, strong work ethic and business acumen.
• Flexible to accommodate varying work schedules based on business needs.
• Interest in a long-term career in worldwide logistics operations.
• Currently rising juniors or seniors enrolled in a 4-year or 2-year degree program.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of warehouse associates during the internship.
