Job summary

TJX Companies, Inc. in Bloomfield, CT offers a 12-week summer Operations Internship across our distribution centers.

You’ll join a dynamic team, lead warehouse associates, and learn how retail operations and logistics keep our business running smoothly. You’ll receive on-the-job training, mentorship from leaders, and the chance to work on a process-improvement project, with a final presentation to Distribution executives.

Qualifications

• Rising Juniors and Seniors currently enrolled in a 4-year degree program or students enrolled in a 2-year degree program.
• Available for the full duration of the summer internship.
• Strong analytical thinkers with sophisticated problem-solving skills.
• Proven leadership experience, team collaboration and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of warehouse associates and support daily operations.
• Learn how retail operations and our logistics networks partner to run the business.
• Shadow TJX operations leaders and participate in a process-improvement project.
