Qualifications

• Enrolled in a college/university degree program or Co-op, pursuing Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or related field.
• Must be 18 years of age to work on a construction site.
• Desire to work in construction management and learn about the industry.
• Commitment to standard business hours and potential overtime as assigned.
• Demonstrates interpersonal skills, leadership, or community involvement.

Responsibilities

• Assist on active construction projects under supervision at site or in a related office.
• Support the project team with meeting coordination, material tracking, document control, and progress reporting.
• Follow site safety rules, wear PPE, and communicate with architects, engineers, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Relate academic learning to on-site activities and daily tasks.
• Assist with preparation of estimates for changes in work and preparation of project communications.
• Participate in training, meetings and orientation and maintain professional relationships with team members.
