Job summary

Colliers Engineering & Design seeks a SUE Technician based in our Dallas and San Antonio offices to support subsurface utility engineering projects. The role involves reading utility records, interpreting drawings, and designating utilities using electromagnetic and geophysical methods.

You will operate a vacuum excavation truck and perform test holes while maintaining safety and efficiency. Ideal candidates will have 0–2 years of related experience, strong reading and communication skills, and

Qualifications

• 0–2 years experience with electromagnetic and geophysical designating technologies.
• Ability to read and comprehend written communications and instructions.
• Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions and travel occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Work with a team on a wide variety of projects.
• Read and interpret utility records, as-built and survey drawings.
• Designate existing utilities using electromagnetic and geophysical methods.
• Operate a vacuum excavation truck and perform test holes.
• Apply appropriate maintenance of traffic.
