Job summary

STV is seeking a Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) Technician for our Midlothian, TX office. You will designate buried utilities using advanced geophysical technologies and interpret subsurface information both in the field and during post-processing.

Responsibilities include operating hydro-excavation equipment for test holes, supporting both Surveying and SUE, and communicating findings. Expect regular overnight travel and on-the-job training with a strong safety focus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record required. NO EXCEPTIONS.

Responsibilities

• Designate buried utilities in the field using geophysical technologies.
• Interpret subsurface information in field and post-processing.
• Process data findings and communicate results clearly.
