STV is seeking a Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) Technician for our San Antonio, TX office. The role involves designating buried utilities using geophysical technologies, interpreting subsurface data in the field and post processing, and utilizing hydro‑excavation equipment for test holes.

Ongoing on‑the‑job training will be provided, with adherence to OSHA & STV safety guidelines. Required: High School Diploma and a valid driver’s license with a clean record.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record required. NO EXCEPTIONS.

Responsibilities

• Designate buried utilities using advanced geophysical technologies in the field.
• Interpret subsurface information in the field and during post processing.
• Operate hydro‑excavation equipment to perform test holes.
