Job summary

Prestige Healthcare Resources, Inc. is launching an inpatient SUD program in the DC area and seeks a Clinical Outreach Specialist to build and manage a regional referral network. You’ll educate hospitals, EMS, and community partners on admission pathways and coordinate with Admissions and Operations to streamline referrals.

The role involves field-based work, ongoing relationship development, and ensuring timely follow-up while adhering to healthcare policies and privacy regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work, counseling, psychology, public health, healthcare administration, business, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least three years of experience in behavioral health or a closely related area.
• Working knowledge of ASAM levels of care, withdrawal management, MOUD/MAT.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel regularly.
• Occasional evening and weekend availability.
• Ability to pass background checks for DBH-certified facilities.

Responsibilities

• Build a trusted referral network across Washington, DC and surrounding communities.
• Educate partners about admission pathways and levels of care.
• Represent Prestige at community events and professional conferences.
• Coordinate with Admissions and the business office on payer verification and referrals.
• Maintain accurate CRM records and develop weekly referral pipeline reports.
