Job summary

Prestige Healthcare Resources, Inc. is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to provide advanced clinical care within our substance use and behavioral health programs in Washington, DC.

You will conduct evaluations, diagnose conditions, manage medications, and coordinate ongoing care with a multidisciplinary team. Requirements include DC NP licensure, Board Certification (FNP or PMHNP), and 3+ years in behavioral health/SUD settings.

Qualifications

• Current and unencumbered Nurse Practitioner license in Washington, DC.
• Board Certification in Family NP (FNP) or Psychiatric-MMHNP (PMHNP).
• Master’s or Doctorate degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 3 years in behavioral health or SUD settings.
• Strong knowledge of trauma-informed care, psychopharmacology, and co-occurring disorders.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced clinical care in substance use and behavioral health programs.
• Perform evaluations, diagnoses, medication management and care coordination.
• Prescribe psychotropic and general medications; monitor progress and adjust as needed.
• Provide crisis intervention and participate in safety planning with the team.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and 42 CFR Part 2; maintain EMR documentation.
