Job summary

RTX in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Senior Subsystem Engineer to lead testing and troubleshooting of Guidance Electronics within the Advanced Effector Guidance Systems team. The role emphasizes integration, validation, and collaboration with design, program management, and government customers.

The position requires a STEM bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of relevant experience and an active U.S. security clearance. On-site work with some travel is expected.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with electrical hardware development and/or testing.
• Experience in sub-systems, systems engineering requirement development and/or validation.
• Active and transferable U.S. government security clearance is required; U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

• Work environment includes office and lab; occasional field work may be required.
• Integrate and validate electronics, analyze hardware designs, and document subsystem requirements and test plans.
• Mentor and collaborate with program management and government customers.
