Job summary

RTX is seeking a Subsystem Electrical Engineer II to join the Advanced Effector Guidance Systems team. You will develop, integrate, and validate guidance electronics hardware, including RF and digital components, in a DoD context. Expect collaboration across design teams, mentoring, and possible travel as part of program support.

The role requires a DoD Secret clearance, U.S. citizenship, and a strong background in electrical hardware development and testing.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience with electrical hardware development and/or testing.
• Experience in sub-systems, systems engineering requirement development and/or requirement validation.
• Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Integrate and validate electronics design during the development phase of the program.
• Electronics validation includes testing hardware, assessing performance, failure resolution, analysis and modelling.
• Collaborates with detail design team and influences design iteration; interfaces with missile-level integration engineers for hardware handoff and support.
