Job summary

Intel Corporation seeks a Sr Staff Substrate Yield Lead in Phoenix, AZ to own end-to-end yield improvement for advanced packaging, including EMIB-T. You will drive RCA, real-time dashboards, supplier interfaces, and cross-functional collaboration to enable manufacturing readiness across IFS and IPG.

The ideal candidate has a robust background in data analytics, yield optimization, and semiconductor fabrication processes, with experience in DFY/DFM and ML applications for yield prediction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in a science/engineering field with 9+ years of experience.
• Experience with statistical analysis and data analytics tools (e.g., JMP, SQL).
• Experience in yield analysis, defect reduction, and process control.
• Experience with semiconductor fabrication, process integration, or manufacturing debug.
• Knowledge of fault isolation and design-for-test (DFT) techniques.

Responsibilities

• Lead process yield ownership, RCA, and corrective actions for yield excursions.
• Establish real-time yield dashboards and actionable metrics.
• Interface with substrate suppliers to drive process accountability and yield improvements.
• Partner with design/DFM/DFY teams to optimize rules and yield robustness.
• Perform statistical analysis and/or machine learning to predict yield and classify defects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support high-visibility manufacturing programs.
