Job summary

Intel is seeking a Yield Development Engineer to advance semiconductor process technologies within the LTD organization. You will identify root cause yield limiters, develop data-driven methods, and drive manufacturability improvements to meet high-quality standards.

Collaborate with design teams, develop AI/ML tools, and contribute to new product introductions, measurement recipes, and optimization efforts across multiple US locations including Hillsboro, OR and Austin, TX.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in semiconductor science-related STEM field.
• 2+ years of experience in advanced semiconductor devices and process flow.
• Experience with data analysis systems and software tools.
• Proven ability to collaborate across matrix organizations.

Responsibilities

• Develop methods to consolidate and analyze big data for defect mode understanding and yield modeling.
• Perform statistics, create visualizations, and map process development roadmaps that drive technology yield milestones.
• Extract insights from structured and unstructured data using statistics, machine learning, and coding techniques.
• Organize, interpret, and structure insights from fab process, defect, and electrical data to drive yield improvements.
• Develop multivariate algorithms to identify root cause yield limiters and recommend process changes.
• Collaborate with design teams to resolve yield issues before ramping production.
