Job summary

Intel in the United States (Arizona) is seeking a Process Integration and Yield Engineer to drive rapid continuous improvements in safety, quality, yield, and productivity. You will deliver high-quality analytical insights to influence factory resources and minimize defects.

The role requires strong data analysis, problem-solving, and leadership skills with experience in semiconductor fabrication and DOE methodologies.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Electrical Engineering, Microelectronics Engineering, Material Science Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Optical Engineering, Statistics/Data Science, Chemistry, Physics or related STEM field with 4+ years of experience, or Master’s degree with 3+ years of experience or a Ph.D.
• Knowledge of Semiconductor fabrication and processing techniques (Lithography, Etch, Diffusion, Implant, Planar and Thin Films, etc).
• Statistical Process Control and DOE principles, Statistical Data Analysis (JMP/JSL, Python, SQL)

Responsibilities

• Performing detailed data analysis using statistical/data mining tools to identify root causes of defect and yield issues.
• Identify exclusionary sources of defects or yield impacts and recommend corrective actions.
• Lead/participate continuous improvement projects for improved performance.
• Provide expertise on process flow segments.
• Lead/participate in multi-area problem solving teams to troubleshoot yield problems.
