Job summary

Penmac Education Staffing is seeking Substitute Teachers for Lebanon School District. You will follow prepared lesson plans, maintain a positive learning environment, and adapt methods for individual students. Duties include in-class supervision and providing related assignments to keep learning on track.

Qualifications

• Have at least 36 college credit hours (in any subject) OR complete an online training program designated by the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.
• Obtain a Missouri Teaching License or Substitute Certificate.
• Complete a fingerprint background check.
• Complete required training provided by Penmac.

Responsibilities

• Follow lesson plans provided by the regular teacher to create a cohesive and consistent learning experience for students.
• Manage the classroom effectively to encourage student participation, minimize distractions, and maintain a positive learning environment.
• Adapt teaching methods to fit the needs of each individual student.
• Supervise students in and out of the classroom, including in the halls, on the playground and in the cafeteria.
• Provide in-class and at-home assignments based on the available lesson plan.

Penmac Education Staffing is now hiring Substitute Teachers for the Lebanon School District. Substitute Teachers play a vital role in providing quality education to our children. You will have the flexibility of creating your own schedule, weekly pay, health insurance options and retirement benefit options.Benefits:Substitute positions are paid at a daily rate. The payrate for positions at this school district range between the equivalent of $15.00-$18.13 per hour, depending on the assignment.
