Job summary

Penmac Education Staffing is seeking Substitute Teachers for the Conway School District in Missouri. You will have the flexibility to create your own schedule with weekly pay and health insurance options, plus retirement benefit options.

Responsibilities include following lesson plans, managing classrooms, adapting methods to student needs, supervising students, and assigning work based on the plan. Requires college credits or Missouri online training, and appropriate teaching credentials plus

Qualifications

• Must have 36 college credit hours or completed Missouri online training program.
• Must obtain Missouri Teaching License or Substitute Certificate.
• Fingerprints background check required (contact Penmac before proceeding).
• Penmac-provided training must be completed.

Responsibilities

• Follow lesson plans provided by the regular teacher to create a cohesive and consistent learning experience for students.
• Manage the classroom effectively to encourage student participation, minimize distractions, and maintain a positive learning environment.
• Adapt teaching methods to fit the needs of each individual student.
• Supervise students in and out of the classroom, including in the halls, on the playground and in the cafeteria.
• Provide in-class and at-home assignments based on the available lesson plan.

Penmac Education Staffing is now hiring Substitute Teachers for the Conway School District. Substitute Teachers play a vital role in providing quality education to our children. You will have the flexibility of creating your own schedule, weekly pay, health insurance options and retirement benefit options.Benefits:Substitute positions are paid at a daily rate. The payrate for positions at this school district range between the equivalent of $15.00-16.87 per hour, depending on the assignment.
