Job summary

Penmac Education Staffing is hiring Substitute Teachers for Clever R-V Schools. You will have the flexibility of creating your own schedule, weekly pay, and health and retirement benefit options.

Substitute Teachers in the Clever district earn $135 per full day. Responsibilities include following provided lesson plans, maintaining an orderly classroom, adapting methods for individual students, supervising students, and delivering assignments based on the plan.

Qualifications

• To become a substitute teacher, you must meet state requirements and Penmac training.
• Pass a fingerprint background check and obtain Missouri Teaching License or Substitute Certificate.
• Complete training provided by Penmac.

Responsibilities

• Follow lesson plans to create a cohesive learning experience.
• Manage the classroom to encourage participation and minimize distractions.
• Adapt teaching methods to fit individual student needs.
• Supervise students in all areas of the school.
• Provide in-class and at-home assignments based on the lesson plan.
• Develop long-term lesson plans for extended substitutes.

Penmac Education Staffing is now hiring Substitute Teachers for Clever R-V Schools. Substitute Teachers play a vital role in providing quality education to our children. You will have the flexibility of creating your own schedule, weekly pay, and health and retirement benefit options.

Substitute Teachers in the Clever school district currently earn $135 per full day. An affordable health insurance plan is available from your first day of employment-no waiting period!

Responsibilities include:

• Follow lesson plans provided by the regular teacher to create a cohesive and consistent learning experience for students
• Manage the classroom effectively to encourage student participation, minimize distractions, and maintain a positive learning environment
• Adapt teaching methods to fit the needs of each individual student
• Supervise students in and out of the classroom, including in the halls, on the playground and in the cafeteria
• Provide in-class and at-home assignments based on the available lesson plan
• For long-term substitutes: develop lesson plans and assignments consistent with the regular teacher's past lesson plans

Requirements include:

To become a substitute teacher, you must:

• have 36 college credit hours (in any subject) OR complete an online training program designated by the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education
• obtain a Missouri Teaching License or Substitute Certificate
• complete a fingerprint background check (contact Penmac before completing this step for more details)
• complete required training provided by Penmac
