Job summary

Douglas County School District is seeking a Substitute - Program Leader for Meadow View Elementary to support the Director and Assistant Director in supervising children across programs and activities. The role emphasizes safety, positive supervision, and active engagement with students within the community setting.

The candidate should be 18+, have a High School diploma or equivalent, and possess child-care credentials or documented experience.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and able to work with children.
• At least three months (455 hours) of supervising four or more children.
• Current early childhood credential level I or higher (Version 3.0).

Responsibilities

• Uses positive techniques to support and guide behavior and promote respectful interactions among children.
• Ensures safety of children through supervision at all times.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
• Builds healthy relationships by engaging with children and addressing their needs.
• Plans and implements activities that promote learning, exploration and sense of belonging.
