Job summary

Douglas County School District is seeking a Substitute - Program Leader to support leaders in supervising children across before/after school and full-day programs at Sand Creek Elementary. You will engage with children using positive behavior techniques and ensure their safety during activities.

The role requires at least 18 years of age, and either 3 months of care experience with non-related children or a valid ECPC credential level I+. First Aid & CPR, plus OSHA training, are required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old with ability to work with children.
• Either 3 months (455 hours) of verified care experience with 4+ non-related children, or an ECPC credential level I+.
• First Aid & CPR Certification (AHA) and OSHA Universal Precautions Training.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes positive techniques to support and guide behavior among children.
• Ensures safety of children through supervision at all times.
• Performs related duties as assigned.
• Builds healthy relationships with children and responds to their needs.
• Plans and implements program activities that promote learning and belonging.
