Job summary

Douglas County School District is seeking a Substitute - Program Leader - BASE at Pine Lane Intermediate to supervise children across various programs and activities while supporting the Director and Assistant Director and promoting positive community relations within the school community.

The role requires the applicant to be 18+, capable of working with children, and to meet one of the specified qualifications, along with First Aid & CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and able to work with children.
• First Aid & CPR Certification is required/preferred.
• Three months (455 hours) of verified experience caring for four or more children (age 4+) or a current ECPC 3.0 credential.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes positive techniques to support and guide behavior and promote respectful and cooperative interactions among children.
• Ensures safety of children by providing sufficient and appropriate supervision and guidance of children at all times.
• Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.
• Builds healthy relationships with children by actively engaging with them and responding to their needs.
• Plans and implements program activities that provide children with opportunities to learn, develop skills, explore interests, and experience a sense of self-worth and belonging.
