Douglas County School District is seeking a Substitute - Program Leader - BASE at Meadow View Elementary. The role involves supervising children in various programs, using positive behavior support, and promoting a safe, engaging environment.

Qualifications include being 18+, having a minimum of three months of verified child-care experience, and a High School diploma or equivalent. First Aid/CPR and OSHA safety training are required. Part-time, on-site position with competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have at least three months (455 hours) of verified experience in care and supervision of four or more children not related to the individual.
• Certification in First Aid & CPR and OSHA-related precautions are required.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes positive techniques to support and guide behavior and promote respectful interactions among children.
• Ensures safety of children through supervision and guidance at all times.
• Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.
• Builds healthy relationships with children by engaging with them and responding to their needs.
• Plans and implements activities that help children learn, develop skills, explore interests, and feel belonging.
