Job summary

Douglas County School District is seeking a Substitute Program Leader at Silver Spruce Elementary to assist the Director and Assistant Director in supervising children across multiple programs and unstructured activities. Your role includes promoting positive interactions, ensuring safety, and supporting students during before/after school and non-classroom activities.

The position requires being at least 18 years old, with demonstrated experience with groups of children or an early childhood

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Experience working with groups of children (3 months/455 hours) or an early childhood credential level I+ in version 3.0.

Responsibilities

• Supervise children in various programs and unstructured activities.
• Promote positive behavior and ensure safety at all times.
• Build healthy relationships with children and respond to their needs.
• Plan activities that help children learn, develop skills, and feel a sense of belonging.
