Job summary

Wyoming Child and Family Development is seeking a Substitute Paraeducator Head Start to support three-to-five-year-olds in a collaborative classroom. You will prepare materials, assist the Lead Teacher, and provide individualized care to promote social skills and readiness for school.

Responsibilities include following Head Start standards, assisting with group activities, maintaining safety, and supporting IFSP/IEP goals with teachers and families.

Qualifications

• Must have HS diploma or GED and be 18+.
• Must obtain CDA within specified time frame; training provided.
• Possess additional relevant trainings or certifications as required.
• Degrees only from accredited US institutions recognized by DoE.

Responsibilities

• Assist Lead Teacher in classroom prep and setup.
• Provide individualized care to meet child/family needs.
• Deliver direct services to children and families in various settings.
• Support social skills and school readiness initiatives.
• Follow Head Start/NAEYC and licensing guidelines.
