Job summary

WSP USA is seeking an Intermediate Substation Structural Engineer to join the Power Delivery Civil/Structural Group. Primary work in Freeport, ME with other NY locations, focusing on steel structures, foundations and bus supports for electrical substations.

You will support planning, analysis, and design, generate precise reports, and ensure safety and code compliance on a range of public and private projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in structural or civil engineering or closely related discipline.
• 1 to 3 years of relevant post‑education experience.
• Knowledge of structural engineering principles and design/build processes.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, analysis, design and delivery of structural solutions for substations.
• Prepare reports and documentation with sketches, calculations, and drawings.
• Collaborate with engineers, staff and project managers across disciplines.
