Qualifications

• High School Diploma.
• 5+ years of post-education experience in discipline with drafting and design support.
• Familiar with drafting and design support principles, practices, processes, methods and techniques.
• Familiar with relevant codes, regulations, compliance practices, and record-keeping requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist with collecting, compiling, and analyzing data from sites, surveys, blueprints and drawings to support drafting and design.
• Under minimal supervision, use 3D CADD software and resolve design details with engineers for basic projects.
• Provide routine design assistance ensuring fit, form, function and adherence to design standards.
• Verify calculations, design changes, and interpretation of plans; escalate discrepancies as needed.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute project work and ensure regulatory compliance.
