WSP USA is seeking an Intermediate Substation Structural Designer to support Civil/Structural efforts in Power Delivery. The role involves providing local technical design and CADD support for substation projects across multiple locations including New York, NY and other listed offices.

Responsibilities include producing high-quality design deliverables, verifying calculations, and collaborating with engineers to resolve design details while complying with codes and standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• Minimum 5 years of post-education experience in discipline with drafting and design support experience.
• Familiar with drafting and design support principles, codes, and document management.

Responsibilities

• Provide local technical design and CADD support for civil/structural substation projects.
• Generate design deliverables including plans, sections, details, and material lists.
• Ensure designs meet industry standards and contract requirements.
• Collaborate with engineers and cross-functional teams on project phases.
