Job summary

FirstEnergy Corp is seeking a skilled leader to oversee relay testing system support and ensure consistent use of RTS across FEU. You will develop, test, and issue relay test routines, providing field technical support and coordination with IT on software upgrades.

You will also assist field personnel with NERC PRC-005 compliance, review documentation, and drive improvements to testing methods and maintenance practices while traveling as needed.

Qualifications

• Regulatory compliance experience in utility/substation environments.
• Leadership experience in a technical team or project setting preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication with stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Relay Testing System support team and ensure consistent RTS use.
• Develop, test, and issue relay test routines and procedures.
• Provide field technical support for relay test software and coordination with IT.
• Assist in compliance activities with NERC PRC-005 requirements.
• Support testing of new equipment and tools to improve field performance.
