Job summary

FirstEnergy Corp seeks a Testing Site Coordinator III+ to coordinate and oversee contracted testing and technical service interests for transmission and distribution substation projects. You will work with Utility Operations, Construction & Design Services, and other FE teams to ensure safety and reliability across projects.

The role requires a strong background in electrical substation construction or maintenance, plus extensive experience in testing and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or related field with 8 years of experience.
• Alternatively, 12 years of experience in utility/construction if no degree.
• Experience in electrical substation construction and/or maintenance.
• Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee contracted testing for substation projects.
• Ensure safety, reliability, and compliance with FirstEnergy specs.
• Attend project status meetings with managers and resources.
• Plan testing schedules and ensure staffing levels.
• Review testing records and ensure proper documentation.
