Penlight is seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer with a focus on substations and distribution grid operations. The role emphasizes protection, controls, SCADA/ADMS integration, and alignment with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities include managing protection schemes, ADMS/SCADA/HMI systems, and substation equipment maintenance while coordinating with engineering and field operations. A PE license is desirable, with strong project management and communication skills required.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering or related field; Master’s preferred.
• PE license is desirable for advancement and responsibilities.
• 4+ years of electric utility operations/engineering experience.
• Experience with protection, SCADA/OMS, and substation engineering.
• Familiarity with IEEE/NERC/ANSI standards and Washington driver’s license.

Responsabilidades

• Protection and Controls: design, implement, maintain and troubleshoot protection schemes for substations.
• ADMS/SCADA: configure and oversee real-time monitoring and reporting for SCADA/HMI systems.
• Substation hardware: oversee maintenance and testing of relays, breakers and switches.
• Project management: lead substation upgrade projects with budget and timeline control.
• Regulatory compliance: maintain standards and safety requirements.
• Technical documentation: create reports and records for management and regulatory purposes.
